Moon and ice

In solitude I retreat with Mrs. moon

She greets me with her I shake her hand and smile too soon

There isn’t reason to entwine

In places no one should

But it is that face that keeps

The silent river as if ice

And it were for ever winter

Colors pale like mist and pearls

Shallow solitude unfurls
